What acts will take part, and at what time each day?

Full details of the acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Gates will open 1 hour before the first act and close 1 hour after last act each day.

Where can I buy tickets?

Weekend Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/south-galway-bay-music-festival-tickets-472192028067.

€65 for a weekend ticket.

Day tickets, Under age tickets, are on sale now.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. 

 

Where is the concert taking place and is parking available?

Ballinderreen GAA Grounds, H91 TC65

 

  • BY CAR:
    There are two parking areas at the venue. Please follow the traffic steward’s guidance on arrival.
     

  • MOBILITY-IMPAIRED ACCESS
    Vehicles with a mobility-impaired badge will be directed into the grounds of the concert by stewards to the Mobility Impaired Car Park.

Are there buses available?

Yes the organisers have Buses from Oranmore and Gort each night

Ticket entrance policies

Please have your ticket available for inspection at the main entrance to the venue.

Tickets will be scanned from your phone or your printed paper ticket. Tickets must be retained for the duration of the event.

 

 

What if my mobile phone is lost or has no power on the day of the concert?

Don’t worry; we have a record of every lead booker who bought tickets for the shows and will be able to help. Please make your way to the box office in the first instance.

 

 

What are the age and entrance policies?

 Adult tickets (Aged 18 and over) cost €25-€30 for 1-night ticket or a weekend pass is priced at €65.00. Youth Tickets (13 to 17 yrs) cost €15 for 1-night ticket or a weekend pass is priced at €65.00
Adult tickets (Aged 18 +) cost €25-€30 per 1 night ticket. Saturday & Sunday Country Music Ticket €50. Full weekend pass €65.00. 
Youth Tickets (13 to 17 yrs) cost €15 for 1-night ticket or a Full weekend pass €30.00
Children age 12 and under are free of charge. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult or Guardian over 25, to a maximum of 4 children per adult.

Over 18s admission is strictly by full ticket only.

A driving license/passport/garda card are all acceptable forms of identification.

A supervising adult (over the age of 25) must accompany all those under 18. The welfare of children is of critical concern, so one adult can supervise a maximum of 4 children.

We will operate the "Challenge 25" policy on-site at our bar. However, anyone who appears U18yrs will be asked for ID.  Please drink responsibly.

Searches will be in operation on the entry to the event. (check prohibited items in terms and conditions).

PLEASE NOTE – No large bags will be permitted at the concert site. Bags A4 size & smaller will be subject to security checks on entry.

Will there be a dance floor?

Yes,  The stage is outdoors on the grounds of Ballinderreen GAA. There will be 3 marquees each measuring 70ft by 30ft with a covered wooden dance floor and a seating area to shelter from any inclement weather.

 

What refreshments will be available?

There will be a fully licenced bar, hot takeaway food options, and a shop with tea, coffee, drinks, and sweets/crisps.

 

Can I use contactless payments?

All bars, concessions, and traders will accept cash, contactless payments, or chip & PIN payments.

 

How do I contact the organisers?

First Aid 

A First Aid area / Ambulance Vehicle will be situated at the changing rooms for the event as indicated by the green cross on the map.

 

Lost property

Lost property should be handed to security or dropped off at the event's site office. Please get in touch with a member of security for assistance. Post-event, please email southgalwaybaymusicfestival@gmail.com for lost property. Unclaimed Lost property will be handed to the local Garda Siochana.  Organisers are not liable for any stolen or lost items.

 

What is the campervan/camping policy?

Strictly no camping on the GAA grounds or car parks is permitted. Limited campervan parking, without services, is available on the grounds and must be pre-booked to guarantee a space by emailing southgalwaybaymusicfestival@gmail.com.

 

Other recommendations

The concerts take place outdoors on the grounds of Ballinderreen GAA.  Organisers have a plan in place to erect a marquee to cover part of the dance floor and a seating area to shelter from inclement weather.

  • Dress appropriately for the weather.

  • No Large Umbrellas (Pocket size is fine)

  • ·lease be respectful of the grounds of Ballinderreen GAA and the locality of the grounds, which is a residential area.

  • Consider our good neighbour policy and respect the local community and residents. We ask that you leave the venue quietly.

  • Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.

  • Have a wonderful time.
