Travelling By Car

The Distance from Dublin to Ballinderreen Co Galway is approximately 2.5 hours depending on traffick and approx 211.9km.

From Dublin

From the M50 Dublin, Exit at J7 for the N4/M4 towards Galway/Westport, stay on the M4 until  Kinnegad juction (Stay Left after Kinnegad juction M6 to Galway. Stay on M6 till Junction

At junction 18, exit onto M18 toward Limerick. At junction 17, take the R458 exit to Kinvarra/Ardrahan/Oranmore.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto R458 heading to M18/Kinvarra/Oranmore. Turn left onto N67

Travelling by Public Transport

For your trip from Dublin (Ireland) to Ballinderreen (Ireland) with a distance of 110 mi you will be able to take 2 modes of transport, eventually by combining bus and/or train, and according to which the duration of the journey will be significantly different.

Take a coach from Dublin to Ballinderreen

No coach company allows you to get you directly to Ballinderreen from Dublin without changing buses, you will have to take the coach lines Dublin-Oranmore and Oranmore-Ballinderreen.

You will board a coach of Bus Eireann or Citylink in Dublin. The bus will drop you off at Oranmore (Opp Oran Town Centre) bus station (0.2 mi from Oranmore, Ireland). Please make sure to show up on time at Dublin (Batchelors Walk) bus station (0.4 mi from Dublin) at least 15 minutes before the time of departure for Oranmore. Once arrived in Oranmore, take another coach of Bus Eireann that will take you to Ballinderreen bus station ( Ireland).

Travel by train between Dublin and Ballinderreen

It is not possible to travel directly by train from Dublin to Ballinderreen without changing trains. You can take the train Dublin-Galway and travel by bus to get to your final destination.

Trains InterCity of Iarnród Éireann to Galway leave from Dublin Heuston railway station in Dublin. Arrival in Galway will take place at Galway station (0.1 mi from the city centre).

Bus Eireann operates the intercity bus services from the bus station of Dublin (Busáras) in Dublin and to the one of Oranmore (Oran Town Centre) ( Ireland) and between the city of Oranmore (serving Oranmore (Opp Oran Town Centre) bus station at 0.2 mi from centre) and the city of Ballinderreen where the coach will drop you off at Ballinderreen (Eastbound) station situated at about 0.1 mi from Ballinderreen city centre.

Citylink is the bus carrier that allows to travel on the line from the bus station of Dublin (Batchelors Walk) in Dublin and to the one of Oranmore (Opp Oran Town Centre) ( Ireland)

Go Bus

The coach company GoBus carries out the route between the city of Dublin (serving Dublin (Eden Quay) bus station at 0.4 mi from centre) and the city of Galway where the coach will drop you off at Galway (Bus Station) station situated at about 0.1 mi from Galway city centre.

Iarnród Éireann provides a rail connection Dublin-Galway with the train InterCity from Dublin Heuston railway station (1 mi from city-centre) and serving the rail station of Galway at arrival (0.1 mi from centre)
